Recipe Ingredients for Deer Stew

3 cup, chopped Carrots
2 1/2 cup White Potatoes
3 cup, diced Celery
20 tbsp chopped Onions
12 oz Venison
8 fl oz Wine, Table, Red
2 tbsp Fat, Chicken
2 tbsp Corn Starch
3 1/2 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Deer Stew

Saute cubed deer steak in oil till browned, set aside. Saute onion, celery, carrots, and potatoes and add 3 cups of water and 1 cup of wine. Add 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. rosemary, and 1/4 tsp. black pepper. Put the deer meat back in and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for :30 min to 1 hour. Combine 2 T. cornstarch with the 1/2 cup of reserved water. Mix into stew and stir till thick. Serve.
