Like a chicken pot pie but with mushroom and bacon

Recipe Ingredients for Deconstructed Bacon and Roast Mushroom pot pie.

1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.67 oz Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
3 pan fried slice Lower Sodium Bacon
250 grams Wine, Table, Red
6 medium Mushrooms
8 fl oz Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth
2 shell Puff Pastry

Recipe Directions for Deconstructed Bacon and Roast Mushroom pot pie.

  1. Fry off bacon to get bacon fat

  2. Fry off onion

  3. Add flour and create a roux

  4. add wine and chicken stock

  5. Add mushrooms

  6. Simmer for 20 minutes to combine.

  7. Bake pastry on flat sheet after defrosting.
