These are amazing! Everyone loves them! My love of chocolate lead me to create a "guilt-free cookie." They are not crunchy cookies..unless you overbake them. do NOT seal the container for storage or they will get too soft!

Recipe Ingredients for Deb's Too Good for You Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 c apple sauce
1 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 t vanilla
2 1/2 c oatmeal
1 c whole wheat flour
1/4 c wheat bran
1/4 c ground flaxseed
1/2 t salt
1 t baking powder
1 c semi sweet chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Deb's Too Good for You Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. mix 1st 2 ingredients

  3. add next 2

  4. combine the dry ingredients in a med. bowl, add to sugar mixture & stir to combine.

  5. drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheets

  6. flatten slightly with a fork

  7. bake for 8 minutes
