Recipe Ingredients for Debbie's basic red sauce

8 oz Tomato Juice
1 cup Diced Tomatoes
2 portion ( yield from 1/2 lb raw meat ) Beef, Ground, 80% Lean Meat / 20% Fat, Crumbles
1 medium Onions
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.018 oz Chili Powder
0.8 tsp Sweet'N Low

Recipe Directions for Debbie's basic red sauce

  1. Brown the meat in a coated pan, and pour off the fat.

  2. Add oinons and cook untilt the onions are done.

  3. Mix in a large pot 1 can of diced tomatoes (you can use the ones with or without garlic), most of a large can of tomato juice, and the spices. (We often do this in a crock pot).

  4. Add the meat/onion mix.

  5. This can be prepared ahead and refrigerated.

  6. Cook the noodles just before serving, and ladle the red sauce over it.
