Recipe Ingredients for Debbie Good-For-You Chicken Soup

1 1/2 c onions, chopped
1 c celery, sliced
1 c carrots, chopped
1 c mushrooms, sliced
1 c tomatoes, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/2 tsp black pepper
7 c chicken broth
1/2 c lentils
1/2 c wild rice
1/2 c white wine
3 c chicken, chopped

Recipe Directions for Debbie Good-For-You Chicken Soup

Saute all vegetables in olive in large dutch oven in pan (except carrots-add those right before broth). Add broth, wine abd seasoning. Bring to a boil. Add wild rice and lentils. Bring back to boil, reduce to a simmer for thirty minutes. Add chicken. Cook additional 30 minutes or until rice and lentils are tender.
