A lighter version of a yummy layered dessert

Recipe Ingredients for Death by Chocolate (Light Version)

1 package chocolate cake mix
1 cup pumpkin, canned
2 packages chocolate pudding
300 g (1 tub) Cool Whip Free
120 g (3 bars) Skor bars, chopped or crushed

Recipe Directions for Death by Chocolate (Light Version)

  1. Mix chocolate cake mix with pumpkin (do not mix in anything else, as instructed to on the box)

  2. Spread cake batter about 1" high into pan and cook as directed on box, but for 5-10 minutes less (cake should be fudgy/a little wet)

  3. Once cake has cooled, cut into cubes and layer half of the cubes on bottom of large bowl

  4. Layer half of pudding on top of cubed cake and then half of the Cool Whip

  5. Top with Skor pieces

  6. Repeat the four layers and serve
