Literally heart stopping cake designed for my son's wedding. Still make it occasionally for birthdays and special occasions. Needed to see how damaging the calories were.

Recipe Ingredients for Deadly Chocolate Wedding Cake

2 box cake mix, devil's food
1 box vanilla pudding
6 eggs
1 cup oil
2 2/3 cup water
1/3 cup sour cream
6 tbsp cocoa, powdered
6 oz chocolate chips, semi-sweet, melted
32 oz powdered sugar
1 lb butter
6 tbsp cocoa, powdered
6 oz chocolate chips, semi-sweet, melted
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream
24 oz chocolate chips
1/4 cup karo syrup
16 oz cream, heavy whipping
6 oz chocolate chips, mini

Recipe Directions for Deadly Chocolate Wedding Cake

  1. Put together cake mixes, pudding mix, 6 tbls powdered cocoa, 6 oz melted chocolate and add eggs, water, and oil.

  2. Mix as directed on packages, and pour into 2 11x9 " pans. (larger than normal pans, less than 13x9.)

  3. Freeze cakes overnight. Cut cakes in half to make 4 layers total. frost each layer with chocolate buttercream frosting, than ganosh, including top layer. Pour ganosh over whole cake and smooth down sides.
