Recipe Ingredients for Dawn's Chili Beans

6 oz kidney beans, canned
1 lb pinto beans, dry
1/2 sweet onion, diced
1/4 bell pepper, diced
1 lb ground beef
12 oz stewed tomatoes, canned
9 g chili seasoning
4 cups water

Recipe Directions for Dawn's Chili Beans

  1. Put dry pinto beans into a bowl of water to soak overnight in refrigerator.

  2. Brown ground beef.

  3. Put ground beef, water, stewed tomatoes, pinto beans and kidney beans into crock pot.

  4. Simmer on high for 6 hours.

  5. Add sweet onion and bell pepper at least an hour before serving.
