Recipe Ingredients for dates squares

4 cup dates
1 cup water
3 cup oats
3 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup sunflower oil
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for dates squares

  1. cook dates with 1 cup of water in sauce pan until mixture becomes spreadable

  2. mix remaining ingredients

  3. layer half of mixture in large deep dish

  4. spread date as second layer

  5. add remaining mixture of a oats

  6. cook 20 min at 350C
