dates/oats and whole grain muffins

Recipe Ingredients for date- oat muffuns

1 c oats
1/3 c walnuts
1 c whole wheat flour
3/4 c white flour
1/3 c ground flax seeds
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg whites
2/3 c packed brown sugar
3/4 c skim milk
1 tbl lemon juice
1/2 c water
1/4 c pumpkin puree
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 c chopped pitted dates

Recipe Directions for date- oat muffuns

  1. bake at 400 degrees in greased muffin tin

  2. or loaf pan

  3. toast oats, and walnuts in pan

  4. wisk together dry ingreedients

  5. wisk wet ingredients together

  6. add wet to dry gently folding until moistened

  7. bake 15-25 minutes let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan
