Recipe Ingredients for Dar's Brown & Wild Rice Pilaf

3/4 cup Wild Rice and Brown Rice Mix
1 T Bulgar Wheat
1/4 cup red onion, diced small
1 celery stalk, diced small
1 carrot, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
2 mushrooms, diced small
1 t dried thyme
1 serving Instant Broth and Seasoning Sodium Free Bouillon Packets Chicken
1 1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Dar's Brown & Wild Rice Pilaf

  1. Add water to small pot and bring to boil

  2. Meanwhile, chop the onion, and celery, and mushrooms; grate the carrot and mince the garlic

  3. Once the water is boiling add everything to the pot and stir just to mix

  4. Cover the pot and lower temperature

  5. Simmer on low about 40 minutes

  6. Serve warm
