Semolina cooked with dal, vegges and greens in a pressure cooker and served with a dollop of ghee.

Recipe Ingredients for Daliya

8 tbsp Semolina
1 slice, medium (1/4" thick) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 oz Spinach
75 g Toor Dal
3 dash Salt, Table
2 g Butter Ghee

Recipe Directions for Daliya

  1. Wash the semolina well to separate any impurities.

  2. add in a pressure cooker- the semolina(rava), yellow lentils(toor dal),spinach(washed), tomatoes(washed and cut- raw),salt and water.

  3. Place it to cook.

  4. Once completely cooked release the steam and serve hot with a dollop of ghee.
