Recipe Ingredients for Dal

254 g onion
10 g garlic
120 ml tomato juice
175 g cauliflower
170 g red lentils
15 g olive oil
2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp turmeric
370 ml water

Recipe Directions for Dal

  1. chop what needs to be chopped

  2. fry the onions and garlic in the oil with the cauliflower

  3. add hot water, juice(or a can of tomatoes), lentils and spices

  4. boil until ready

  5. serve on a bed of rice
