Recipe Ingredients for Dal Makhani

200 g urad dal
1/2 c chickpea
1/2 c kidney bean
1/2 c onion
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 cup tomato
2 T yogurt
3 T heavy cream
1 T ghee

Recipe Directions for Dal Makhani

  1. soak beans & lentils overnight

  2. add spices and vegetables and slow cook

  3. heat cumin seeds & tomato in oil, add

  4. add milk ingrediants, heat

  5. garnish and serve with rice or rott/naan and salad
