I am on a dairy free diet and often need something quick on my way to do errands or workout. this is like a tasty little low calorie snack.You can eat them on the run, like a piece of bread and they are very good & don?t need syrup.

Recipe Ingredients for Dairy Free low calorie pancakes

1 c. Whole Wheat Flour
1 c Unbleached white flour
2 egg whites
24 g (2 Tbl) coconut or beet sugar
1/4 c applesauce
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup soy milk
1 c. club soda

Recipe Directions for Dairy Free low calorie pancakes

Mix the liquid first then add the dry until very thin batter. Use large ice cream scoop to make single pancake using the 2 level on the stove with a cast iron griddle or @ 350 on the pancake griddle.
