Dairy-Free Health and Protein Breakfast Smoothie. Great for boosting the immune system. Though high in calories, I use this to boost my system in the morning to keep me going for the rest of the day. I have a weak immune system due to medications, and an illness that effects my digestive tract. Drinking this shake daily, I noted a significant change in my overall health, and a decrease in the number of flares of my IBD per year, as well as an increased general regularity of my digestive tract. When I fall ill with a flare of my IBD, my body loses all of its strength in the fight to repair the damage done to my body. My medications can only control the inflammation, but once the damage is done, I need all the protein and healthy foods that I can ingest. This protein shake got me back on my feet when my body had no strength left to keep me on my feet. Additionally, since this is an entirely liquid meal, when my IBD killed my appetite (and I mean really killed it), I had an easy time of putting this whole shake down into my system, since it took no effort to chew or swallow. I got the idea for this recipe from various health articles I read online and I haven't been happier with the outcome of any meal I have ever invented. I spend much of my time thinking about what goes into my body, and this is my masterpiece. I estimate ingredients, so ounces in the recipe can be altered to achieve the consistency you desire for your own shake.

1 Bananas
1/2 cup Spinach
1/4 cup Blueberries
170 grams Live! Soy Yogurt
1/2 cup Unsweetened Original
1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/2 tsp Flaxseed
1.2 oz Invigorating Vanilla Ultra Energy Shake
