Recipe Ingredients for Dairy Free Banana Bread

4 small (6" to 6-7/8" long) Bananas
2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
3 oz Natural Plus Applesauce
3/4 cup Pure Cane Sugar
12 tsp Domino Light Brown Sugar
2 egg
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.13 tsp Light Salt Mixture
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/6 cup Shelled Walnuts

Recipe Directions for Dairy Free Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven. Grease loaf pan.

  2. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

  3. Mix applesauce and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well between each addtion. Add mashed bananas and vanilla, beating until combined.

  4. Using a wooden spoon, fold in dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Pour into prepared pan. For small pans only fill 1/2 way. Bake about 60-70 minutes until toothpick comes out clean (40 min in small oven). Cool slightly before serving.
