A dish served cold, as part of main meal, lunch or dinner. The Bhalla's can be prepared and frozen for later use.

Recipe Ingredients for Dahi Bhalla

0.33 cup Urad Dal
100 grams Yoghurt
1 dash Salt, Table
15 grams Fresh Chopped Onions

Recipe Directions for Dahi Bhalla

  1. Soak dal over night, grind to thick paste without adding water. Mix chopped onions and spices. make into 4 flat balls and deep fry, till golden brown.

  2. beat the yoghurt till smooth. add a pinch of salt. Soak the Bhalla's in warm water till soft.... squeeze out the water and add to the yoghurt. Chill in freezer before serving with hotsweet chutneys
