4 cups Dried Green Peas
1 lb boneless ham
1 cup carrots
1 cup celery
1 salt
1 pepper
1 onion
2 potatoes

Recipe Directions for Dad's Split Pea Soup

  1. Cook dried peas for 2 hours.

  2. Add Bone-In ham and cook til tender.

  3. Add carrots, celery, onion & potatoes; cook til tender.

  4. Use salt & pepper to taste.

  5. Serve Hot
