Recipe Ingredients for Dad's pancakes

14 oz milk
2 eggs
2 oz canola oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
2 cups flour

Recipe Directions for Dad's pancakes

  1. heat medium higgh or 350 degreee electric skillet

  2. measure milk to 14 oz, (1 3/4 cups)

  3. add oil to milk to make 2 cups total

  4. add eggs and beat all together

  5. sift flour

  6. add salt, sugar and a slightly rounded Tbsp of baking powder

  7. stir with a fork to aerate

  8. add dry to wet and very carefully, with very few strokes, mix enough to essentially wet the contents of the dry ingredients

  9. leave lumps alone

  10. allow to sit for a few minnutes without touching it at all

  11. 1 pancake has about 50-55 calories
