my first go at making this soup. Sea Poup... I was never fond of it as a kid, but who knows... this could be good.

Recipe Ingredients for CV Split Pea Soup

8 cup Organics Split Green Peas Dry
26 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1000 grams Ham, Sliced, Extra Lean
1000 grams Smoked Turkey
4 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
2 cup Leeks, (Bulb And Lower Leaf-portion)
3 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tsp Marjoram, Dried
10 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery
10 medium Carrots
3 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled

Recipe Directions for CV Split Pea Soup

  1. In a large stock pot, cover peas with 2 quarts water and soak overnight

  2. add ham, sausage, onion and spices. Cover and bring to a boil and simmer for 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add celery, carrots and potatoes - cook slowly for 30-40 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

  4. Enjoy
