Recipe Ingredients for Custard Pie

3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups milk

Recipe Directions for Custard Pie

  1. preheat oven to 450

  2. scald milk

  3. beat eggs

  4. mix in dry ingredients

  5. slowly add milk, add vanilla mix well

  6. Pour into pie shell

  7. Add fruit

  8. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes then lower oven to 325 and bake for another 25 minutes
