Rice side dish, like Uncle Ben's but better.

Recipe Ingredients for Curry Rice

1 cup Unico Long Grain Rice
1 1/2 tbsp Butter
3 tsp Garlic
2 cup (8 fl oz) Soup, Chicken Broth Or Bouillon
1 tsp Curry Powder
1/3 tsp Salt, Table
1/4 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions

Recipe Directions for Curry Rice

  1. melt 1 tbsp butter with garlic and curry powder (medium heat)

  2. add rice and stir until coated with mixture

  3. add chicken broth and salt and bring to a boil

  4. reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes

  5. remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes

  6. add remaining butter and scallions, mix/fluff and serve.
