A nice curry - add 1kg lamb or chicken.

Recipe Ingredients for Curry

2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
2 clove Garlic
3 tsp Ginger Root
2 pepper Peppers, Hot Chili, Green
1.5 tsp Turmeric, Ground
1 tbsp Coriander Seed
1 tsp Chili Powder
500 grams Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
8.5 oz Coconut Milk
3.3 oz Cashew Nuts

Recipe Directions for Curry

  1. Run the onion in a mixer. Grate garlic and ginger.

  2. Sauté the onions in butter over medium heat. Add ginger, garlic, finely chopped chillies and the dry spices.

  3. Turn up the heat, add a little oil and brown the meat while stirring. Add salt and tomatoes.

  4. Put on the lid and allow to simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

  5. Add coconut milk and let simmer for 10 more minutes without the lid.

  6. Serve with cashews and fresh coriander
