A spicy Asian dish with tempeh. Tempeh is not included in this analysis due to lack of specific low-fat type that I use in CC.

Recipe Ingredients for Curry Peanut Tempeh

1/4 cup frozen celery, cooked
1/4 cup frozen onions chopped, cooked
1 cup mixed vegetables, cooked
1 cup fresh mushrooms
1 tbsp garlic flakes
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp celery seed
3 tbsp asian peanut sauce
1 tbsp corn oil

Recipe Directions for Curry Peanut Tempeh

  1. Warm oil in wok or large pan.

  2. Add spices and mix; will be like a paste.

  3. Add tempeh and veggies immediately and mix well.

  4. Add 1 cup water and peanut sauce immediately.

  5. Bring to boil for approx 7-8 minutes until veggies are semi-tender.

  6. Cover and simmer until water has evaporated.

  7. Serve immediately on rice or soba noodles topped with lemon or lime juice.

  8. I used soyboy 5 grain tempeh.
