Makes 4 servings



A South African style curry mince, great, tasty, healthy comfort food. Add to Quorn mince or your favourite minced meat.

Recipe Ingredients for Curry Mince

1 onion
5 g garlic
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
3 carrots
300 g potato
500 ml stock

Recipe Directions for Curry Mince

  1. Fry the onion and garlic until soft.

  2. Add the spices and fry for a further minute.

  3. Add your mince and fry until browned and coated in spices.

  4. Add the chopped carrots and potatoes and stock, bring to the boil and simmer until the veggies are cooked through.

  5. Season to taste and serve with rice or crusty bread.
