Jamaican Curry recipe, serve with rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Curry Chicken

9 chicken Thighs
4 large Carrots
1 large Onion
4 cloves Garlic
3 medium Potatoes
2 tbsp Curry Powder
2 tbsp Thyme
1 1/2 tbsp Seasoning Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Hot Sauce
2 tbsp Canola Oil
3 cups Hot Water

Recipe Directions for Curry Chicken

  1. Slice carrots into rounds, potatoes into chunks and mince garlic & onion.

  2. Put the chicken in a bowl, and rub with spices.

  3. In a large pot saute onion and garlic in oil.

  4. Add chicken and sear.

  5. Add vegetables and enough water to almost cover the veggies.

  6. Add hot sauce.

  7. Cook over medium high heat and stir frequently until sauce is thickened and food is cooked throughly.
