Recipe Ingredients for Curried Squash and Lentil Soup with Chicken

83 g 1/2 Chicken broilers or fryers meat and skin, bone removed, raw
62 g Red Lentils
213 g Squash
23 g Apple (1 medium)
27 g Carrots (2 large)
30 g Onion (1 medium)
37 g Potato (2 medium, peeled)
25 g Celery (5 stalks)
4 g Curry Powder
4 cups water

Recipe Directions for Curried Squash and Lentil Soup with Chicken

  1. Precook chicken. (Leftovers ideal)

  2. Peel and chop vegetables, add to large sauce pan and cover with water. Cook until tender then add lentils, chicken, and spices.

  3. Simmer covered about 30 minutes.
