Yummy in homemade sesame baps relish and cheese, a lovely change from herby ones.

Recipe Ingredients for Curried Soya Burgers

5 ounces (141.75g) soya mince
1/2 pint boiling water
0.18 oz (5g) bouillon - swiss vegetable, powder
1 small onion, finely chopped
4 1/2 ounces wholewheat flour
1 egg, medium, beaten
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1 salt and pepper, season to taste.

Recipe Directions for Curried Soya Burgers

  1. In a bowl rehydrate the mince with the water and stock allow to stand for 15 minutes.

  2. Once totally rehydrated add the onion and mix well, in a seperate bowl combine the flour and curry powder and add to the soya and onion mix, stir and combine well, now add the egg and worchestershire sauce, season to taste and form once mixed well, with wet hands six patties/burgers, place on a lightly floured plate, cover and chill for 10-15 minutes. Once chilled place on a non stick baking tray and cook in a preheated oven gas mark 7 for 20-30 minutes or until cooked right through and golden.
