A light curry flavor makes delicious quinoa a great side dish for a multitude of main courses.

Recipe Ingredients for Curried Quinoa

1 serving (Hain Celestial Canada) Casbah Quinoa, Organic Whole Grain
3 serving (Mastro) 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil CDA
1 tbsp Curry Powder
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 small Onions

Recipe Directions for Curried Quinoa

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook and stir for 2 minutes; add quinoa and cook and stir until lightly toasted, about 5 minutes. Pour broth into the pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add curry and chile powders; cover and simmer until tender, about 25 minutes.

  2. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
