From "The Complete Vegan Kitchen." What I think of as, Indian Bean Dip.

Recipe Ingredients for Curried Lentil Dip

2 tsp oil
1 onion, large
1 cup lentils, cooked
1 cup split green peas
4 tsp garlic, minced
2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp curry
1/2 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp tahini
3/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Curried Lentil Dip

  1. Heat oil on medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger, and cook till soft.

  2. Add spices, cook another three minutes.

  3. Add beans and onion mix to a food processor, and pulse a few times.

  4. Stir in lemon juice and tahini.

  5. Taste and season with sea salt
