Spicy and tasty chickpea side dish

Recipe Ingredients for Curried Chickpeas

1/2 cup Chick Peas
1 tbsp chopped Onions
1 clove Garlic
1 1tsp Olive Oil
0.5 tsp Cumin Seed
0.5 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
1 wedge yields Lime Juice
1 serving, raw Cilantro

Recipe Directions for Curried Chickpeas

  1. Saute chopped onions and garlic in olive oil at medium heat

  2. Add spices, saute for 1 minute.

  3. Add chickpeas with about 1 tb of water

  4. Cook for 5 minutes, covered.

  5. Add the juice of a lime wedge, stir.

  6. Add chopped cilantro leaves just prior to serving.
