Recipe Ingredients for curried chickpea rice

50 grams Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular, Cooked
50 grams Peas, Green
30 grams Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds
50 grams Vegetables, Mixed
1 tsp Curry Powder
1 tbsp chopped Onions

Recipe Directions for curried chickpea rice

  1. sweat onions in pan. when soft, put to one side.

  2. in seperate saucepan, cook rice with curry powder.

  3. 8 minutes before rice is cooked, add frozen mixed veg to pan of rice.

  4. 3 minu tes before rice is finished cooking and frozen peas and chickpeas.

  5. when rice and veg is cooked, drain, then add cooked onion.

  6. serve
