This is a pretty mild curried chicken.

Recipe Ingredients for Curried Chicken

1 lb chicken breasts
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups onions, Sliced
1 tablespoon water
1 apple, peeled, chopped
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/8 teaspoon ginger, Ground
1/4 teaspoon turmeric, Ground
1 cup water
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/3 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for Curried Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Rinse chicken, pat dry; dredge in flour.

  3. Spray a large non stick skillet with vegetable spray; heat over medium high.

  4. Add chicken and cook just until brown; turn and brown other side.

  5. Put chicken in a medium size shallow casserole.

  6. In skillet over low heat, cook onion in 1 T water 5 minutes; add apple and cook 1 minute.

  7. Spoon over chicken; sprinkle with spices.

  8. Pour mixed water and bouillon over all.

  9. Bake, covered, 55 min or until tender.

  10. Add raisins and cook 5 minutes longer.
