Recipe Ingredients for Curried Chicken Pitas

4 tbsp nonfat plain yogurt
1 tbsp low-fat mayonnaise
1/2 tbsp curry powder
1 cup chicken breast, cooked & cubed
1 stalk celery, finely diced
1/4 cup dried cranberries
2 tbsp sliced or slivered almonds, toasted
1 whole-wheat pita bread, 4- to 5-inch, cut in half (or 2 small whole-wheat pita breads)
1 cup bean sprouts

Recipe Directions for Curried Chicken Pitas

  1. Combine yogurt, mayonnaise and curry powder in a large bowl. Add chicken, pear, celery, cranberries and almonds; toss to combine.

  2. Fill each pita half with 1/2 cup chicken salad and 1/4 cup sprouts (if using small pitas).
