Brown rice made with curry powder and mushroom broth.

Recipe Ingredients for Curried Brown Rice

1/2 cup brown rice
1 cups mushroom broth
1 tbsp curry powder

Recipe Directions for Curried Brown Rice

  1. Pour mushroom broth into 2 quart saucepan with a tightly fitting lid. Add curry powder and mix well. Add brown rice. Bring rice and water to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 40 minutes.

  3. Turn off heat. Allow to sit for 10 minutes. Fluff rice with fork, stir to combine ingredients. Serve as a side dish or it's great as a main dish served with salad. Enjoy!
