My standard baking powder biscuit recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Currant Baking Powder Biscuits

2 cup Robin Hood All Purpose Flour
4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
125 grams Shortening All Vegetable
0.75 serving sunrise soy milk
0.5 cup Currants, Zante, Dried

Recipe Directions for Currant Baking Powder Biscuits

  1. Mix dry ingredients.

  2. Cut in shortening.

  3. Stir in soy milk and currants.

  4. Pat out on floured surface to about 1/2" thick.

  5. Cut circles with a juice glass.

  6. Bake at 400 F until golden.
