Recipe Ingredients for Curly Pasta & Chicken Toss

8 oz Macaroni, dry
2 tbl cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1 can Chicken Broth
1 tbl lemon zest
1/2 green pepper
1 cup carrots
1 lb chicken breast, boneless skinless
1 1/2 tbl Vegetable oil
3 garlic cloves
1 cup broccoli
1 tsp dried basil
1 oz grated romano cheese

Recipe Directions for Curly Pasta & Chicken Toss

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. Combine Cornstarch and salt, whisk in Chicken Broth. Zest lemon and add to mixture, set aside.

  3. Heat 1 Tbl oil and add 3 cloves garlic, crushed.

  4. Cut chicken into chunks and add to the oil.

  5. Stir fry 5 minutes or until no longer pink, remove from pan.

  6. Add 1/2 Tbl oil and Stir fry cut vegetables until crisp tender.

  7. Add chicken and broth mixture, stir until boiling.

  8. Stir in pasta and basil.

  9. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
