This is an easy way to add to your variety of healthy choices around the barbeque all year long. Toss with olive oil and cumin, and in less then 5 minutes, you?ll be ready to throw your veggies on the grill. Cauliflower is a member of the cruciferous family. Cruciferous vegetables may provide protection against certain cancers, they contain antioxidants, and are high in fiber. Cauliflower is high in vitamin C and a fair source of iron.

Recipe Ingredients for Cumin Grilled Cauliflower

1 head cauliflower, stalk trimmed, cut into florets
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe Directions for Cumin Grilled Cauliflower

  1. Heat grill. Rinse and pat dry the head of cauliflower. Trim stalk to remove the tough end, leaving 2 ? 3 inches of the base. Cut the cauliflower into florets about 1 1/2 inches wide. Place cauliflower onto a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with cumin, salt and pepper. Using your hands, toss gently to evenly distribute the oil and seasoning.

  2. Place on the grill in a single layer and cook for 5 - 10 minutes, turning once, until browned.

  3. Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

  4. Cooking Time: 5-10 Minutes
