Cucumber Salad Recipe

Great side dish. Goes well with meat and dry cooked fish, or simply with potatoes.

Recipe Ingredients for Cucumber salad

230 g (1 medium) cucumber, sliced thinly
1 cup yogurt, non fat (preferably organic)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp mustard seeds (brown)
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Cucumber salad

Slice cucumbers thinly and sprinkle with salt. Leave out for 1/2 hour, and after the cucumbers release water, drain it and rinse the cukes under the running water to get rid of salt. In a separate bowl mix yogurt and sugar, add 1 tsp of salt and brown mustard seeds and leave in the refrigerator until flavors combine (about 1 hour).
