Recipe Ingredients for Cucumber Salad - Old Fashioned sliced/jar

16 oz white vinegar
1 cup sugar
4 cucumber+8-1/4" cucumbers
1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced

Recipe Directions for Cucumber Salad - Old Fashioned sliced/jar

Remove cucumber skins. Use a fork (tines) to carve lightly, lines down the sides of the cucumbers. Slice the cucumber in to thin slices. Mix Vinegar and Sugar together. Add sugar to taste. Cut Onion in rings, then cut in 1/2 or 1/4 strips. Combine all ingredients in to a 48 oz. storage container or large jar. Chill 4 hours before serving.
