Recipe Ingredients for Cucumber Salad (Betty Crocker)

2 cucumbers
1 tbsp salt
3/4 cup white vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1 dash pepper

Recipe Directions for Cucumber Salad (Betty Crocker)

  1. Peel cucumber to create green and white stripes. Cut into paper thin slices to measure 4 cups. Layer cucumbers with salt in a deep bowl.

  2. Cover cucumbers with plate and press with weight at room temperature 2 hours.

  3. Drain cucumbers completely pressing out liquid.

  4. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over slices. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Drain salad before serving.
