Yummy semi-pickled cucumber salad just like my Grandma used to make!

Recipe Ingredients for Cucumber and Onion Salad

2 cucumbers, sliced thin
1 medium onion
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 1/2 tbsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Cucumber and Onion Salad

  1. Slice cucumbers and onions very thing

  2. Combine vinegar, water and sugar in med sized glass jar, shake.

  3. Add cucumbers and onions, liquid should cover vegetables- add more liquid if needed.

  4. Let sit min 1-2 hours or overnight in fridge.

  5. Serve by itself, or on salad.
