place in one side of shallow bowl with cheese soup on the other side to make a wonderfully delicious black and white soup.

Recipe Ingredients for Cuban Black Bean Soup

2 3/4 cup dry black turtle beans
1 1/2 large onions
1 cup carrots, shredded
2 T garlic
1/4 cup cilantro
1 T cumin
1 tsp chipotle hot sauce
3 jalapeno pepper

Recipe Directions for Cuban Black Bean Soup

saute' onions, garlic, peppers about 10 minutes then add carrots cook another 5 minutes. add to beans with cumin and part of cilantro and cook until ready. then add the rest of the cilantro and blend until a thinck soup texture.
