A high protein meat substitute. Great on sandwiches!

Recipe Ingredients for crockpot seitan

16 ounces gluten flour
1/4 cup tahini
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
3 cups vegtable broth
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Recipe Directions for crockpot seitan

mix gluten flour, nutritional yeast and spices. Add soy sauce, broth and tahini. Mix well. Let stand twenty minutes. Place in crockpot (greased). Add small amount of water, broth or watered down BBQ sauce. Cover and cook several hours. Slice.
