Makes 8 servings



Overnight oatmeal using steel cut oatmeal.

Recipe Ingredients for Crockpot Oatmeal Jenn's Way

2 cups Steel Cut Oats
6 cups water
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 medium apples, peeled and diced
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Crockpot Oatmeal Jenn's Way

  1. Find a bowl that will hold about 8 cups and fit inside your crockpot.

  2. Place all ingredients in bowl and stir.

  3. Fill the crock pot with water until it reaches about half way up the outside the bowl containing the ingredients.

  4. Set crockpot to cook on low for 8 hours.

  5. WAKE UP AND SERVE.

  6. This recipe can be cut in half to reduce number of servings or for smaller crockpots.
