Season to your taste! You can add anything like chili seasoning, chile verde, etc. I made this from items on hand.

16 oz Fresh Pork Shoulder Blade Steaks
16 oz Fresh Chicken Breast Tenders

3 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
2 small Onions
3 tbsp Green Chiles

Place pork and chicken in crockpot. Peel and seed the tomatoes and chop. If using fresh green chiles, remove seeds and chop. Chop onions, Remove RAW corn with knife from cobs. Add all to the pot. Add seasonings, fresh basil (chopped). Cook on low. Add a can of pinto beans to pot 1/2 before serving or serve separately heated. Could be served over rice with salsa, sour cream, chili verde sauce. The possibilities go on and on. I added nothing else to keep fat/calories down for myself.
