Recipe Ingredients for Crockpot Fajitas


fajita seasoning mix:
1/2 tsp cumin,
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper,
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp oregano

the meat mixture:
1 lbs chicken breasts
1 large onion
2 green bell peppers
1 red bell pepper
1/2 cup chicken stock, 50% less sodium

Recipe Directions for Crockpot Fajitas

  1. Rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. Season both sides of your chicken with the fajitas seasoning mix.

  3. Cut peppers into inch slices.

  4. Cut onions into thin slices.

  5. Put vegetables at the bottom of a crock pot, put chicken on top of the vegetables.

  6. Add cup broth on top.

  7. Turn crock pot on to low and cook for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

  8. **serving suggestion: serve on top of white/brown rice or with warm corn tortillas...
