Hearty corn chowder to warm your inside on a cold day.

Recipe Ingredients for Crockpot Corn Chowder

8 Bacon
1 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 c. chopped celery
4 c. diced peeled potatoes
24 ounces frozen whole-kernel corn, broken apart
2 tbs. Splenda, no sugar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 c. water
1 can evaporated milk

Recipe Directions for Crockpot Corn Chowder

  1. In skillet, fry bacon until crisp; remove and reserve. Add onion and potatoes to bacon drippings and saute for about 5 minutes; drain well. Combine all ingredients in Crock Pot; stir well.

  2. Cover and cook on Low setting for 4 to 7 hours. Add evaporated milk 30 minutes before serving.

  3. Add cornstarch mixed with tablespoon of water and stir in 15 minutes if thickening is needed.
