This is my version of crockpot chili

Recipe Ingredients for Crockpot Chili

30 oz (2 cans) Pinto Beans
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
1/2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
15 oz tomato sauce
4 portion ( yield from 1/2 lb raw meat ) Beef, Ground, 80% Lean Meat / 20% Fat, Crumbles
2 cup Corn, Sweet, Yellow
29 oz Diced Tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Crockpot Chili

  1. brown beef on stove, drain (I usually use 93/7 beef, but 80/20 was on sale)

  2. put beef in crockpot with beans, pepper, onion, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce and about 1/2 cup of water

  3. cook for 8-10 hours on low or 4-6 hours on high (I prefer the 8-10 hours on low)

  4. serve with sour cream and cheese with cornbread on the side
